Netted Greenstone Earrings and Pendant

I had bought a little bag of greenstone offcuts from a greenstone carver.

It is very hard, so drilling holes wasn’t a good idea, and I really like greenstone and silver, so I got out my 0.5mm sterling silver wire and started wrapping.

The pendant was first ‘cos it was larger and easier to hold on to.

I learned from this to start with a wrapped loop, wrap the length of the stone and back up around the loop, then around a few times to secure, end pretty, and tighten the wraps with a few kinks made with the tips of the pliers.

Then I got out my 0.8mm sterling wire to make some ear studs.
