Moroccan Amethyst Pendant

I have had this Moroccan Amethyst for quite some time, after buying it from a lapidary artist.

This weekend I took a tube bezel & flush set workshop from Joy Raskin, and purchased a bail video from Lexi Erickson, and finally had the courage to do something with it.

Sometimes it pays to be patient.

I set in sterling silver, the tube set amethyst in fine silver.

You can’t see it in the photo, but there is a 2mm faceted CZ flush set on the bail.

I had done tube sets in the past but they always ended up a little crooked.

Sometimes you should just splurge and take the class!

I have several other stones and am anxious now to set them rather than just look at them.
