Mom’s Vintage Snowflake

Since my mother is now in a nursing home she doesn’t need all her jewelry. I now have it to do what I want with it.

The pin

This Christmas I needed a simple, fast, last minute necklace to go with a sweater. Even though I make jewelry, I needed it fast, like that night!

I decide to go through Moms collection and see what I could use. I found this beautiful crystal pin that reminded me of a snowflake. PERFECT!

Finished look. So simple!

All I did was paired it with a very simple silver chain. Instead of taking off the pin part I decided to just run the chain behind the pin enclosure. Taa daa, how simple & easy. I can wear it as a necklace or pin. I even found matching earrings!

Taa daa!

Mom loved it and I surprisingly got many compliments.
