Moldavite & Metal Clay

I once read an article about using moldavite with precious metal clay because it could withstand the heat when being fired with Precious Metal Clay. So I tried it.

I rolled out and textured the clay then wrapped it around the top of the moldavite.
I hadn’t planned on making a piece of jewelry for my husband, but when he saw it, he wanted it.

Instead of a chain I thought a braided leather cord would give it a more masculine work. He wears it everyday.
