Midnight Beauty

I usually make smaller, dainty pieces so when I saw this challenge I jumped at the chance to get out of my comfort zone. I made a wire frame and then wire wrapped the focal crystal button and other beads to the frame.

I used labradorite because it’s one of my favorite gemstones to work with and the iridescence of the stone matched the iridescence of the focal crystal.

I also used crystal bicones and rondelles to add even more sparkle.

This is definitely an eye-catcher and I am very happy with the piece.

I have gotten many compliments on the piece so far and have decided to step out of my comfort zone more often.
