This design (Dangerous Curves) was fun to make. My Irish husband noticed it immediately and said it reminded him of the many serpentine Boreens in Ireland.

I’ve added a few beads for color and to individualize the design. My daughter has a shop and they’re going to her…. they’ll be winners I’m sure!

Also, I am in a wheelchair and can’t get to art shows so I try to sell my jewelry on the internet. I’ve been an artist all my life and taught oil painting for a long while. Now that I can’t walk I’m still creating… this time with beads, wire and love.

  1. Marcia, these variations of my necklace are wonderful! The beads make this style much more interesting, and contribute a nice splash of color. I especially like that you used just a few beads on each of these – it brings more drama and focus to the dangerous curves. I think the boldness of this design works very well with the beads you’ve chosen. Thank you so much for sharing these! 🙂

These are so 1970’s . I love the gracefulness of the dangerous curves.

The story behind the styling makes the jewelry even more interesting. I see the curved and rugged roads in Ireland now when I look at the wire curved back and forth! Each bead reminds me of a little gem of a farmhouse scattered among the hills! Great job!

Love these pieces! I’m dealing with pretty much the same “can’t get out and about” and my hands aren’t what they used to be. Great inspiration here!
