Liability Insurance for Artists

For the first time, I have been asked to provide proof of liability/vendor insurance at an event.

I am an author, as well as a jewelry designer and it was a simple book-signing event that required the proof of insurance.

Apparently it is trending at trade shows, craft shows, art shows etc.

I am looking for tips on price, types and amounts of coverage.
