Jewelry for Friends

One of my passions is repurposing vintage jewelry. I hate seeing lovely pieces wasting away in drawers or on dusty shelves.

I especially like doing this for friends because the pieces have a history and are important to those that own them.

The first necklace  is made from an original Dior pin that was inherited from an ancestor that wore it on the runway of a Dior fashion show. I left the pin backing intact so as not to devalue the pin.

I attached it to a vintage multi-link metal chain and added a vintage crystal clasp. So beautiful. The second pendant is real ivory and blends beautifully with new stones.
