Iris Fields Forever

My favorite time of the year is spring when everything is blooming, especially the iris. My favorite is the purple iris. The petals look like velvet.

I love the contrast of the green stems and the long thin leaves against the beautiful purple flowers… I wish they would last forever.

Well, I found a way to make it so. My Sister and I have used this basic pattern to make many variations of this bracelet, but none take me to a time when the iris are in full bloom and the purple flowers look so regal as this first one I made.
Inspiration comes from so many places, we just have to learn to go with it when it comes.
