Improvised Cool Leather Cuff

I was itching to try something with leather, especially since I’d just bought some destash leather from a friend.
I traced and cut two pieces, one narrow and one wider (the one pictured here). I had also just received a lovely lemon citrine carved butterfly that inspired me further. I ran 20 gauge gold-plated wire through the butterfly and punched two holes in the center of the leather, threaded it through and did some bending and clipping, then ran the wire back through under the butterfly and wound it around underneath.
So far, so good. Finding I had no standard findings to end the cuff, I improvised with ribbon clamps, added jump rings and devised a way to attach two handcrafted hooks…whew! In the end, I like it!
