My adopted home of Savannah, GA is the inspiration for my new “Hidden Gems” collection.

A hidden gem is something that may have gone unnoticed or deemed to have no value. I have found so many of these treasures in the past year and a half living here.

Whether it is an architectural detail on a building, or moss on a brick wall or grave marker in a cemetery or the nuances of each park or square. At first glance, all the Spanish moss may make everything look similar, but if you look a little closer, there lies all the Hidden Gems.

I also see these designs as a metaphor for life which isn’t always easy or beautiful or perfect but if we are patient and look a little closer we may find those hidden gems in people, experiences, and situations.
