Help - Flush Wire Cutters for Cable Wire / Beading Wire? Discussion on Jewelry Making Journal

I’m hoping someone here can help me before I’m driven mad!

I’ve decided 2016 is the year to make the jewellery pay for my bead addiction and start selling seriously.

So far I’ve used cheap flush cutters, but they blunt really quickly on my beading wire – I use Beadalon 49.

I want to go ‘up’ to something longer lasting but I’m struggling to find a suitable pair.

Several jewellery sites mention the Tronex 7222 Taper Flush Cutter, but when you look up the spec it says they’re only suitable for soft metal wire, and the Beadalon is steel cable.

So what should I go for? Any recommendations?

PS – Can I add that this site and the newsletter are brilliant – a big Thank You to Rena and all the contributors.
