Gone Fishing

Vintage, brass focal fish started as huge earrings. They just shouted “re-work” when I found them in the thrift store so I had to figure out how to do it… certainly not as earrings.

The shiny brass reminded me of some fish varieties we have here on the Gulf Coast and I started looking through other water related elements in my ‘stash’.

I found the one remaining foiled glass bead with all the underwater colors that became the “prize” the fish are diving for.

Aqua blue dyed river rock beads spaced with vintage red coral form the double strand coming off the fish tails repeating the colors, textures, and the Gulf theme.
