From Blah to Bling! Painted Paper Jewelry

My lady friend bought a set of painted paper beaded jewelry from a well known TV shopping channel. But once she received them she cried with disappointment. The presentation was too dull and not exciting, though the materials were full of lively color. She tossed the set into the drawer knowing she probably would never wear it again.

So I asked her to give me a chance at pretty-ing them up. I was intrigued with some 18 ga purple wire in my stash as it was a lovely offset to the predominately Aqua beads.

Then I came across aqua and lavender glass nuggets, and faceted mirror finished blue glass. To fully coordinate the colors in the beads I used copper tone findings.

The two necklaces. The large beaded is one piece, the wire wrapped is the other extra long piece.

Now this set is breathtaking, and versatile.
The set consists of 2-necklaces, a pair of earrings, and a wrap bracelet that could also be worn as a necklace.
