“Cosmic Eye” Necklace

This necklace is made from an old broken brooch found in an antique shop in Pasadena, California.
“Cosmic Eye” Necklace Close-Up
The minute I spotted it, I knew the brooch would make a beautiful focal for a necklace. All I needed was to locate some blue glass beads to match the pendant’s glass cabochon.
I found the beads in Quartzsite, Arizona. The light blue beads are from Russia and the white beads are from my stash. The necklace is one of my favorite pieces I’ve made so far. It’s very wearable and will look great with a little black or white dress.
