One-of-a-kind pearl and rope necklace

One-of-a-kind pearl and rope necklace

This necklace was designed thinking of a friend of mine who is sensitive to all metals.

It is made with Blistered Pearls, Fresh Water Pearls and seed beads sewn to a rope with a pearl button closure.

It was my first but has not been my last creation of this type.

I love exploring with different types of materials to only create one-of-a-kind designs.

Hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful combination of elements. The single-color palette makes the textures and contrasts just stunning here.

How lucky your friend is! :o)

Wow, what a statement piece. your bead work on the rope, double wow. Such perfection, love it!
I’d love to feature that on Home Based Jeweler’s Showcase! I don’t think the general public has any idea how many talented and creative jewelry artists there are.

Closure Crimps?
by: Joanne

How do you end the necklace with the button closure, without metal crimps?
The photo does not show the closure. Thanx

Hi Joanne the closue was simple, 1st off the rope is a drapery tie and if you have seen them they have loops on each end so the button was sewn into one end and the loop on the other end was use to go over the button – No Crimps, no metal at all – Hope that helped!
