Black & Copper Bead Stash Blended Jewelry Set

I love making necklaces that are unique with different beads from my bead stash.
I saw the round black and white beads at the local craft store where I teach beginning jewelry techniques and bought them because I know lots of people like black and white.
However, trying match up black bead caps or white beads was very dull and boring, so I noticed a set of beads I had in my black stash that had copper colors and copper beads with it already.
I pulled together beads from more than five different strands of beads to create this delightful necklace. For the pendant I had a copper flower but decided it was too plain by itself.
Having fun doing some wire wrapping, I added a matching focal bead and then added even more copper wire and seed beads to compliment the colors and add some playfulness. I wanted to use the leaf and bead copper dangle chain in the earrings to reflect the copper leaf clasp used.
I am quite happy with the results. I would have never imagined using black and copper together but it worked in these pieces.
