Beaded Cake Testers

I started making beaded cake testers as a way to bring fun and a little bling into the kitchen.

Blue owl cake tester

I love the different beads and designs that can be achieved.

Santa head cake tester

Each cake tester is wire-worked into a different pattern and hand-formed by me. The beads are chosen carefully for contrast and/or compliment to the main focal bead.

Green heart cake tester

Spotted chicken cake tester

I use 20 gauge stainless steel for the tester base and 22 gauge non-tarnish silver-plated wire for the bead attachment, using no glue in the process.
