Amber Wood Necklace

I had ordered some natural amber nuggets and was shocked when they arrived because they were so large. I wondered what the heck I’d do with them and what I could mix them with.

I procrastinated for a week or so and let them lay on the table.

Finally one day, I decided it was time to challenge myself with these large beads.

It was actually a lot of fun digging into my stash of beads, looking for just the right ones to mix with these huge nuggets.

When I came upon the striped wooden ethnic beads & bright turquoise wooden beads, I was jazzed.

I still needed another color to add when I happened upon the red coral.

I had found my extra “pop” and I was off and running with the design! ^_^
