A Little Dreamcatcher

by Marlies/ Snowwolf Creations.

I had done a jewelry show a few years back and had a customer that wanted a dream catcher earring. I had no idea where to purchase the materials needed. I did have a hoop that I could turn into a dream catcher and designed it from there. It is a 1-inch hoop with metallic thread-for the webbing and 11/0 seed beads in the webbing and for the fringe
in the center.

It has 3 small feathers hanging off the bottom. The earring measures 2 1/2 inches in length including the ear-wire and feathers. My customer never purchased the earring; but, I have since sold a pair in brown and white.

A Dream of An Earring

Hi Marlies,

I’m so glad to see some of your work, and what a great job you did in creating your dream catcher earring!

I love the way you wove the wires around the circle earring in the dream catcher pattern. I bet a pendant would look great in this style too.

Thanks for sharing your work.

Hi Marlies,

It is so nice to see your dreamweaver creation for the use of earrings. They are very beautiful. I agree, a pendant would be very beautiful too. Thank you for sharing your creation here with us and keep up the beautiful work!

Dreamcatcher pendant
by: Marlies

Actually I have been planning on doing a pendant; just haven’t decided on how the rest of it should look– a simple chain, or strung with beads. Any ideas?? Thank you so much for the great comments.
