Button Versatility

NECKLACE

I like to experiment different materials and once I choose the materials I decide how my piece will look. For this safari piece I selected some cotton cords ( kaki and taupe) and I pick up different buttons.

As I started to work the necklace I was thinking to use the button as a button 🙂 to close my necklace , and going forward I close it in 2 spots and that made my piece 2 in 1 – a necklace ( containing the bracelet part) and the bracelet itself.

BRACELET

I choose to do different style with the cords in both pieces and once you assembled as one the different patterns added extra texture .
