Turquoise Tears

I had bought some turquoise beads that are in the shape of a disc.

The silver wire wraps the turquoise beads, and I created a contrast with small amethyst beads and silver pewter balls.

The back of the necklace are round turquoise beads, amethyst beads and silver pewter beads and separators.

The clasp is on the side.

I think your choice of amethyst to go with the turquoise is very good. I struggle with the colour turquoise and have beads that have stuck for years. Blues are not “my” thing, but you pulled it off with the fresh wire work and purple.

thank you Kate

I am going to try this with Red gold stone and white turquoise. I cant wait;-)
Another piece i have matched with turquoise was onyx, the onyx goes well with the veins in the turquoise.

Just beautiful
