Not sure what to do with the few left over odd beads, stones, and charms? Here’s a quick technique that will make excellent use of those orphans.
Start with at least 36-39 inches of leather cord. Mine was 1.5 mm tan cording. I started with the largest element and started tying square knots, slipping on the smaller beads and charms along the way. It took a bit of experimenting to get a spacing I liked on the first one.
Finish it off with an overhand knot. Added bonus is no findings! What I like about this is that the ‘charms’ are naturally spaced out and lay beautifully when worn. The technique is a knock off of a big name designer’s expensive necklaces.

I love this idea. I am in preparation of attending my first craft fair and needed some ideas of what things to sell that would set me apart from other crafters. This will definitely get me started. This same concept can be applied to bracelets and earrings. Each piece will definitely be very unique.

I have used odd beads/findings on leather,too. In addition, I have strung a few things on one or more wires or pins and attached them to a spring clasp. Throw them in a basket for sale for a few dollars or allow customers to choose one as a bonus-for-purchase. They can be used as zipper pulls, ceiling fan pulls, bling on purses or belt loops and even as an embellishment on a gift package bow. Some women have said it helps them grasp a zipper in back.

I had been wracking my brains for a “community” market that would be in an area that suited my jewellery and your ring pull idea finally triggered the memory of a perfect market.
