Crystalline Cascade

Dewdrops on gossamer
Lately I’ve been experimenting with wirewrapping and combining smaller crystal and/or stone beads into pendants or focal points, hung on silver chain.
In this case, I have three pieces that can be worn separately or together for a layered look.
Chinese and Swarovski crystals and a tiny bead of tourmalinated quartz merge with sterling silver into a delicate, colorful, sparkly cascade.

Beautiful and versatile

I love the delicate chains and the color mix of your translucent beads.
Also the neat feature of “stacking” the necklaces or simply choosing just one. I like designs that allow for the wearer’s creativity!

Pretty necklace

Rebecca, I like your dainty and colorful necklace, but the photography does not do it justice. I think that if you were to try a different background that does not compete with the lovely necklace, it might be easier to view and appreciate.
Point taken

Hi Kim: Thanks so much for your comment. I have been trying all sorts of backgrounds when shooting jewelry, and have indeed found it challenging. I sort of liked the way these pieces looked just hanging in mid-air, with the greenery in the background, but you are right that the foliage kind of competes with the jewelry. If the sun ever breaks through again, I may try hanging it with a neutral card or cloth in the background to see what effect that has. One thing I’ve noticed is that while they look great on my screen and in Photoshop after downloading from my camera, the colors sometimes don’t seem to pop when viewed online. Any suggestions are certainly welcome.
Thanks again!
Single necklace

I really like these together, I think they would sell well as a single layered necklace. Good luck!
