All the beads used on this pair of earrings are vintage. I’ve used Batik Beads as the focal point. These are African Trade beads created in Kenya, hand shaped from cow bones and then dyed using the batik wax technique.

I’ve accented the focals with bicone shaped golden Agate and dark brown coconut shell disks. Hung on copper wire which I have shaped, hammered for texture and then colored to give the antiqued patina.

This was a fun pair of earrings to create, and I am pleased with the outcome.
