I have looked at this silver shell for three Summers now, but couldn’t decide how to create the necklace.

Last week I was looking thru my various boxes (I keep all my semi-precious beads & chips in those compartmentalized plastic boxes) & it suddenly made sense to use the dyed potato pearls.

I love the gold & amber tones…like the last rays of sun glowing on wet beach sand. I also used some chunky tigereye beads to balance the large focal piece & then made some pearl earrings to match.
