I obtained the unakite stone in its rough form in a 50 pound gift gemstone bag from my husband. After panning through the whole bag, I then decided to purchase a rock tumbler.

After several weeks of tumbling, I decided to try my hand in jewelry making – so I studied, read, researched and experimented for about 2 years.

The tumbled stone was hand drilled by me then using non tarnish brass wire, I designed a decorative bail. I finished it off with gold tone chain components that I assembled, and then made coordinating orange and green quartz earrings with hypoallergenic gold tone ear wires.
