A warning to fellow jewelry makers: if you haven’t tried making chainmail yet, proceed with caution, as making chainmail is extremely addictive!

  1. Lovely, silvery forest look with the two greens and anodized aluminum. Beautiful piece, Wendy! It looks like a fun bracelet to wear and make.

  2. Sue Shade says:

Lovely piece, Wendy, as are your pieces in your shop. I have only made one chain from chainmaille. I found it tidious so kept my one creation for myself. You obviously have more talent at focusing. I love the look of chainmaille.

  3. Thank you for your thoughtful comments, Rena and Sue. Sue, I discovered patience I never had when I took up chainmail! My next goals are to learn wire wrapping to incorporate wire wrapped stones into my chainmail pieces, as well as to focus on making jewelry out of argentium silver. Onwards with the adventure.

  4. Catherine says:

Wendy, I’ve never tried that yet. It does look addictive. I really love the green, my favorite color. Beautiful!

  5. Thank you for your kind words Catherine!

  6. Catherine says:

Wendy, I’ll tell you that you must have good eyes and a bundle of patience. I’ve been trying to practice making a bracelet. I had a crystal on an eye pin to add then decided to take off and put 3 crystal bicones on…messed the whole thing up, I could figure out where to start again. I have a feeling I’m going to be seeing jump rings when I sleep tonight. Wow, what a job!

  7. I know the feeling Catherine! Sometimes a good night’s sleep will give you clarity and then it will be “aha!” once you you start again.
