Simple Wire and Crystal Earrings

I like to keep my designs pretty simple, but not repetitious.

These started out as oversized squares, a shape I don’t use that often. I made them on my jig, hardened them with a wirewacker, and then for color and movement added the wrapped indicolite crystals.

I was disappointed in the design… until I decided to simply pull the earrings into an elongated diamond shape with my fingers. Voila: earrings that are now cute, not clunky!
