Seahorse Necklace

by Cheryl Marsenich.
(St George, Utah USA)

This necklace starts with a brass seahorse undersea focal pendant that I’ve added a deep ocean blue metal patina to. I’ve highlighted it with a light turquoise color.

CMarsenich: Seahorse Necklace 1I’ve added tiny green crystals to the seahorse and the rest of the pendant for sparkle. For the necklace I’ve used a variety of coordinating beads and spacers, blue speckled porcelain as well as turquoise magnesite discs, jasper melons, wood spacers, copper spacers and some chunky wirewraps as spacers as well as some czech glass saucer beads.

CMarsenich: Seahorse Necklace 2

Some are strung together and others I’ve wirewrapped and linked in. I’ve finished the necklace with a strand of ocean blue sari ribbon and a strand of rustic cream sari ribbbon.
