Sea Foam Earrings

Growing up, the only time I got to visit the beach was during summer vacations so to me, fun in the sun is the shore, the ocean, beachcombing.

Along the Shore

I love aquamarine and all the colors in the beryl family. Lately I’ve been drawn to the “natural surface” cut gemstones you can find at many gem shows. These aquamarines are very pale with greys and green tones to them and they sparkle in the light because of their surface texture – just like ocean spray sparkles and the sea foam along the shore.

When I wear them, I can hear the mermaids’ songs. Aquamarine, cultured pearl, fine and sterling silver, 14k/20 gold fill fire.
