Textured copper pipe earrings

I’ve made several pieces of jewelry using recycled copper pipe and I’ve been experimenting with various textures for the pieces once they are flattened out.

Here I made a pair of earrings with half inch flattened copper pipe which I textured using numbers from my stamp kit and ball peen hammer.

After texturing I applied patina, buffed, added some small turquoise stones and ear wires.

They were fast and easy to make, and make a nice casual accessory.

I also made this attractive pair of coiled wire earrings using recycled copper wire from old battery cables:

I followed the instructions in Sherilyn Miller’s book “Wire Art Jewelry”.

She’s a great inspiration for me.
