Front View
Since the previous newsletter issue contains an article about patinas, I’d like to share with you the result of a new technique I tried.

Side View
I etched and domed three copper disks of varying sizes and soldered them to twisted 14-gauge sterling silver.

Back View
After antiquing with liver of sulphur, I used a mixture of nail polish and mica powders to achieve a “nebula” color effect on the interiors of the copper disks.

Stacked on the Finger
I then sealed them with four coats of Renaissance Wax.
I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out. 🙂
