Hawaii Sun

I hand paint coins and turn them into jewelry. This particular one is actually not a coin, but a “trade token” produced by the Maui Chamber of Commerce to raise funds for education.

They are good for $2 at any Maui business, which of course no one would do since they are so collectible and cost much more than their trade value. There is a new trade token issued each year, and they feature wildlife and sea life native to the islands.

I thought I would share this one since it is fun, has a hawaiian dancer, and a big bold sun. All so fun!
