Frozen Charlotte Necklace
by Holly Louen.
(Clovis, California)
A tiny antique 1″ German porcelain Frozen Charlotte doll rests on top of an antique silver crown.
This dangles from a vintage brass finding with a dove, rhinestones and a bit of color.
This unique pendant necklace has an 18″antique brass round link chain that closes at the front with a lobster clasp and small crystal dangle. The pendant is 2 1/2″ in length.
These amazing little dolls date from 1860-1920. During the manufacturing process at the doll factories in Thuringia, Germany damaged dolls were usually buried on the property, and had been long forgotten all these years until being unearthed. Little marks, chips or discoloration give them personality and character.
I love them just the way they were found and I’m sure you will too.
