Dishing Up Goodness

These hammered, convex copper dishes started out as copper blanks. After hammering and doming in wood dapping block, I finished them three different ways.

First one, a dip in LOS, then scrubbed with steel wool. Second, a dip in LOS and left a cool steely gray. Last one, ‘flame painted’ with a micro torch.

Love how these can serve as a wonderful background to any beautiful bead or stone.
