Blue Velvet Briolette

This is a bit of a different twist that compliments Rena’s tutorial on wire wrapping a briolette bead.
These inexpensive faceted blue glass briolette beads received a rustic wire wrapping with 22 gauge copper wire.
After wire wrapping, they were deeply oxidized with Liver of Sulphur and scrubbed a bit with baking soda.

The oxidized copper wire received more scrubbing with steel wool in this pair of earrings.
