Beachcomber Collection

I made a collection of necklaces that I call “Beachcomber” because they are made of the colors and elements of the beach.

The blue of water is represented in apatite and druzy, the white and cream color of the sand by natural shell and freshwater pearl. Pink coral is one of my favorites to work with. I love the shapes and color.

I even added a small vial filled with sand and a “message in a bottle” to one of them. The sand dollar on another was made from PMC that was coated too thinly and was fragile once the orgainic material burned off.

I affixed it to a natural shell to use as a pendant. The slide pendant encases seaweed with fragments of shell and a sand dollar on its edges.
