Your displays are both functional and beautiful. Displaying outdoors with the various weather issues can present an extra challenge.

Since I already have mirrors for my booth, am thinking just sanding, staining and sealing the wood would be beautiful and a great background to display the necklaces. I, too, battle wind constantly and love the idea of the mosaic bases. Many thanks for sharing.

I’m honored! I’ll try to answer a couple of questions:

1) An “L’ bracket does indeed look like a capital L. It is metal with a couple of holes drilled on each side. If you go into a hardware store and ask them to point you to the L brackets they will be glad to help.

2) For those of you who are mentioning the 6 seconds… you are very right! I am working on doing some new ones, with either one color of muted tones or using other materials. I also think they need to be a little bit bigger, both for the mirror and the length of the necklaces.

This is a learning process and I thank you all for the kind comments!

You show your brand that you are incorporating your skill as a mosaic artist in your jewelry and those displays will stop me to get inside your booth for sure . But I also feel concerned that the displays may draw more attention than the jewelry itself if we have only six seconds to show all we want to give! I think you must know the answer from feed backs from your customers in the craft fairs. Best of luck for the shows.

I found two pierced metal luminaria which I painted and hang my pierced earrings in the holes. They are about 14″ high and make a great display. Also, any tray or wooden canape serving platter can make a good necklace display. I fill mine with dried black beans and display my necklaces on top.

Your jewelry displays are simply STUNNING!!! They would definitely make me stop to look at your jewelry. As a buyer, I would think that anyone who took such care in creating these beautiful displays would make their jewelry with the same attention to detail. If you ever wanted to, I’m sure you could produce and sell your display pieces for a very nice profit. Beautiful!

Looks sturdy too! Where I sell here on Maui it gets windy so if I don’t anchor my items they get blown away!

I love your mirror/necklace display idea and
I get the idea of how to put it together except for the back… I
guess I don’t understand the “l” shaped bracket.
Am I correct in assuming it is in the shape of a capital “L”.
Is it metal, wood, plastic…? and do you just glue it on?

I love the mosaic and wood elements you’ve used. Obviously, you are multi talented. Most of us would not be able to create these mosaics easily. Your booths must really look fantastic and you probably have requests for the displays themselves.
