I started with Jinm McIntosh’s book “Wire Wrapping: The Basics and Beyond”. I actually ruined my wires in my first attempt. But in that first try I discovered that I liked a lighter gauge than his recommendation because I like my pieces to be “lighter”. And there are all kinds of little tutorials on YouTube for wire wrapping. I can’t believe the learning that’s available…for free. Good luck to you.

I am struggling to learn wire wrapping in hopes that I can make something’s such as those. Bravo on your incredible work!

My friends were delighted with their surprise. The need to wire wrap the stones gave me the motivation to learn a new technique.

I especially love your spiral wrap on the rhodocrosite. Lovely work, and thank you for sharing the backstory of the stones and wirework! 🙂

Love the wraps you are doing!
