Close up to show beauty of the mineral and embellishments.

I am a self taught beginner and have the love of wire wrappin’ and gems, minerals and rocks.

Back view of pendant is also embellished.

So it was natural when I bought the natural thin Druzy Agate from Brazil to put them together in a free form wrap and embellish to bring out the beauty in the Agate Geode Druzy.

  • Lisa, you did a great job of making both sides of this pendant equally wearable. A fascinating stone! Did you have any trouble with your wire scraping off the druzy crystals? And I would not have guessed you were a self-taught wire artist.

    Rena,

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I love making both sides of a pendant wearable, besides you never know when it might turn on the other side and I want it to be as interesting as the front/or/back~~!!~~ Yes Rena, I did have trouble with the wire scraping off the druzy crystals, just made sure that those wires stayed in place so I wouldn’t scrape off anymore.

Thanks to you and Jewelry Making Journal that helped make me a self-taught wire artist at the age of 56. Never saw it coming or even dreamed I would be creating jewelry, boy am I so glad!!~~!!
