The swrils in the moon add a fun character to the moon, but the crystal dangle a fun touch. I’m new to wire wrapping, and diffinately want to make this moon for my daughter and granddaughter. Thank you. You are truly inspiring. Sherrie

I adore crescent moon pendants, but have never been able to make them work properly. The Moonstone was a wonderful addition!

It’s beyond perfect. I love how the light casts that blue through the stone.

Thank you so much for the compliments! Rena, when I first started making jewelry three years ago, it was an article of yours that encouraged me to start my own business. I’ve admired your work since then and really appreciate how generous you are to give advice and tutorials to newbies like myself. 🙂 You’ve created such an amazing, positive community here and you’ve helped so many people. Thank you! 🙂

Mary, you totally nailed it! That is exactly what I discovered about best laid plans not working out, because you wouldn’t have discovered something even better if they had. The wire star I originally made to dangle from this piece ended up looking to ‘busy’ once I paired it with the finished crescent. I needed something simpler and kind of contrasting. Luckily, I found my moonstone drops and it was an ‘aha!’ moment. Love those! 🙂

Sometimes an idea not working out forces a better and more delightful choice. Nicely crafted and lovely design!
