Wire “Cut-out” Pendants

Not too much snow here in San Diego but you can see it from here. It’s in the mountains about 40 miles away. On to the jewelry…….

These two pendants come from the discard box. They were made from sections cut-out of bracelets with designs that didn’t work. The designs were blah.

I chose two bracelets from the box then cut several pieces from each. I was looking for interesting shapes that had strong design elements and didn’t require too much snipping or rearranging.

The pieces I chose for the pendant frames are made with relatively heavy wire. One is 14 gauge and the other is 12 gauge. I chose 24 gauge wire for the added design elements, the wrapping and anchoring the stones. The stones are chrysoprase and chrysocolla jasper.
