What a great idea! That is a good way of making use of household items into something charming. I love the way you added a little color to them. Almost any color of bead would work with that pair. I will look for similar wind chimes in the store now to see what I can make. Thanks for the inspiration.

A lot of my jewelry is made from found object or things you wouldn’t think of as usable. I am making a necklace using a small lock and keys from my suitcase. I say it and thought…….necklace.
I love yours, and the added beads make them unique.

No, the windchime was a small one, so these two pairs were all that I could make. But I’ll bet dollar stores, or other stores at the end of the season, or secondhand stores, would carry them inexpensively. I’ve used other elements off of windchimes for jewellery before (stained glass hearts), so they’re worth keeping an eye out for.
