Thanks for your informative article! I am getting ready to do my first big wholesale show – it’s a 2 week long, 10am-6:30pm daily event. I was wondering if you hired anyone to help sell at your booth? You mentioned you had ‘help’, but I am trying to estimate just how much help I might need. Any tips??? Hi Judith

I had my stall of Indian designer jewellery (sent by a famous Indian designer) for the first time today in the UK. Unfortunately nothing sold. They were pearls and gemstones. Some people found them very showy while some thought they were beautiful but no one wanted to buy any. Feel quite disappointed. There were 4 other stall holders selling their pieces but none of them were from India.

I am a gemstone / pearl jewelry manufacturer from India, though i only sell wholesale but it really helps to know how things work at these trade shows.
