The plastic bag with twist tabs, the tools mentioned and don’t forget a jewelry polishing cloth…. I seriously suggest you look into making a fabulous purchase of Rena’s book, “Ultimate Guide to Your Profitable Jewelry Booth.” You will not be sorry – that book has been a reference guide to me for the years I’ve had it – I love it – you will too! Great luck on your show – here’s to making some serious profit!!!….

Rena, I hadn’t thought of bringing crimps and crimp pliers. Thank you!
Gayle, I love the idea of a tape measure

Thank you all so much! Now to fit it all into the suitcase!

The one other thing I’d suggest would be to bring a measuring tape – a fabric one (for sewing) can be cut down to jewelry lengths & take up less space. I’ve found that sometimes if you have something they can drape around their necks, then they can make a good decision about the length they would prefer the most. Have fun!

SewMagic, if you’re really tight on space, you might get the miniature versions of jewelry pliers, so you’ll have more room in your kit for other things. And for your beaded lanyards that may need resizing or repairs, you might also want crimp beads, crimping pliers, beading wire, and a wire cutter.

Good luck at your conference – it sounds like an interesting event!

I take two pliers, wire cutters and small ziploc bags with findings. I include clasps and jumpring of different sizes and metals. The plastic bags lay flat and take up very little space. Have fun!
