You need to set your piece. To do this make your design and hammer or tumble your piece

Not hammer to flatten by direct hammering but to work harden

Tumbling using a steel shot as opposed to rice etc as it’s the metal on metal that ‘sets’ the atoms of the wire

Also let your customer know that rolling the bracelet on rather than stretching it when putting it on will keep the integrity of the cord last longer.

I tell my customers it may stretch out over time and I will happily restring it. That’s the nature of stretch materials. My relatives in Florida always have problems with elastic cord. So the weather may be a culprit too. I use one brand too- stretch magic

Maybe investigate a different brand of wire also.
