Vintage Wedding Show for Plucky Maidens

These are photos from my first attempt at selling jewelry at a show. This was at the Plucky Maidens Get Hitched Vintage Wedding Show, earlier this year.

We were told there would be no electricity available, due to the age of the building. My attempt to light my table really only added a little ambiance with the glass votives and battery tea lights.

The booth centerpiece was created from a light weight half mannequin placed on top two small wood step stools. I then dressed my vintage bride with a full skirt so I could clip on my earring cards. Although I had numerous complements on the setting, a few people asked what was I selling, thinking I was a design or rental service.

I’ve already signed up for the fall wedding show and will be scaling back, way back and keeping the table display much more simple.
