I lived in the Caribbean for a few years and have boxes and boxes (even washed and divided by color!), but have made only a few attempts at drilling them, I was unsuccessful and the sea glass means so much to me as I snorkeled for every single piece so did not want to destroy any more until I found a DIFFERENT suggestion, and yours certainly is different than what I have seen. I will be drilling away as soon as I get my studio back in order from “new” (used and built by my dad) furniture and a total reorganization process!

Have lots of friends and family in NJ and was so heart broken when I went down and saw all the devastation from the storm. Second, thank you so much for the silly putty idea! Genius!

I too love sea glass and have a huge stash that I have been wanting to incorporate into my jewelry designs. I have been a little worried about breakage so, I’m relived to hear that your method minimizes this! Can’t wait to start experimenting!
