The wire wrapped donut is perfect with everything on this beautiful fabric chain. Beautiful!

The colors compliment the turquoise so well. Would you be willing to share your instructions? I too have turquoise donuts sitting in my supply box waiting for and idea, this would be perfect! Thanks for showing us your beautiful work.

Sheila, it’s easier than you might think. The simplest way is to cut three 1″ strips of fabric of your desired length. On one end tie a knot with a large jump ring in it so that later you can attach a clasp to it. Then simply braid and do the same thing on the other end (tie a knot with a jump ring). Now you can attach whatever you want to it with jump rings like I have done here. Good luck and have fun!

I would love to learn how to incorporate fibers into my glass-tile necklaces. I don’t know how, and I’ve seen beautiful designs like the one here that make me a little envious of your talent.

Thank you for sharing your turquoise dream necklace.

I love how the fabric, beads, wire, and donut came together – both colorwise and designwise.

I know what you mean about putting something away for a long time before finally using it in a piece of jewelry. Some of my best creations and ideas have come from components that had been packed away for years.

I’m glad you decided to keep this piece for yourself – I have a couple of regrets about pieces I sold.
